It was my youngest daughter’s 2nd birthday last week – oh how the time flies! To celebrate we had a little party for her at the local swimming pool with our extended family. It was the perfect day for it and she had a lovely time.
For her invitations I wanted to do something really summery and came up with this idea of a watermelon invitation. There is no fruit more indicative of summer than watermelon and my girls both love it so it was perfect for our little pool party.
So I’ve created the invitation as a free printable to share with you all and it also includes a matching envelope template.
To make the invitations download the PDF and print onto thick card stock. Cut around the templates with a scalpel or scissors. To assemble the envelope first I used a rounded corner punch on the top of the envelope lid. Before making the folds it helps to score gently along the dotted lines with a scalpel. Use double sided tape or glue to assemble the envelope and I used washi tape to seal it.
You can download your free printable watermelon invitations and envelope below. I hope you enjoy!
